EXECUTIVE COACHING FOR LEADERS WHO VALUE LOGIC AS MUCH AS SOUL

Where psychology meets systems—so your leadership is sustainable, not just high output.

If you’re carrying a lot, leading through ambiguity, or succeeding on paper while feeling less like yourself, this is a practical, systems-informed executive coaching partnership grounded in psychology and organizational reality. We’ll work on inner patterns, relational dynamics, and the real constraints of your role—so you can lead with clarity, steadiness, and impact.

“Clear frameworks, direct feedback, and action plans that showed up in better meetings, sharper decisions, and stronger team outcomes.”

Who it’s for

Executive coaching with me is for managers to senior director-level leaders who are self-aware—leading in complexity across people, priorities, and culture. You know there are areas you need to work on. You’re not in crisis mode. You just need a grounded, systems-informed approach that’s sustainable, not a training course, a leadership book, or one-off insights.

Most clients come to coaching at an inflection point.

The details vary, but the pattern is usually one of these. In both cases, the goal isn’t “do more.” It’s lead differently—with a system that holds.

High output. Low sustainability.

When it works, but it costs too much.

Success... without direction or meaning.

When the next step feels unclear or misaligned.

“Your mindful approach, deep expertise, and genuine support helped me thrive and move closer to my goals.”
Carmisha Webb
Sr. Manager, Global Transportation, Lockheed Martin

We don’t just work on goals. We work on the system around them.

Most coaching helps you set goals and stay accountable—until complexity shows up: competing stakeholders, unclear priorities, limited resources, and patterns under stress.

In our work, we look at three layers so that change actually sticks.

You

Inner system

Attention, emotions, beliefs, motivation, patterns under pressure.

Relationships

Relational system

Communication, feedback loops, trust, boundaries, influence.

Work

Role + context

Constraints, incentives, culture, priorities, decision-making.

The Result

Progress that’s both effective and sustainable—without requiring burnout to maintain.

“This resulted in real progress that can be measured.”
Kevin Bennett
HR Manager, Wabtec

What coaching with me feels like

Calm, candid, and structured—without making you squeeze your life into a rigid framework.

You’re already pressed for time. We’ll keep the work structured and focused, yet human—using the right mix of flexibility, boundaries, and accountability—so each session creates more space in your week, not more to manage.

This isn’t therapy. And it’s not consulting.

It’s a thought partnership that helps you see patterns, make stronger decisions, and lead with more steadiness.

“He listens with deep compassion and empathy while also challenging me to expand my perspective.”
Derrick Nelson
Senior Director, HR, St. Luke's Health System

The Coaching Process

Here’s what working together looks like—from first conversation to sustainable change.

“Incredibly valuable and tailored—John adapted seamlessly to evolving workplace challenges while keeping sessions relevant and impactful.”
Matt Hansmann
VP, Committed Assets, C.H. Robinson
PHASE 1

Clarify (Weeks 1–2)

We get precise about what you’re navigating, what “better” looks like, and what’s actually driving the current pattern—internally and externally.

PHASE 2

Map (Weeks 2–4)

When it’s useful, we bring in the iEQ9 (Integrative Enneagram) to make your patterns visible—especially under stress—so you can work with yourself instead of against yourself.

PHASE 3

Experiment (Ongoing)

We coach inside the real moments: tough conversations, decision cycles, team dynamics, and self-regulation under pressure—where you begin to integrate new tools, systems, and behaviors.

PHASE 4

Integrate (Final weeks)

We consolidate what you’ve built into a simple operating plan you can carry forward—without needing constant willpower.

You don’t leave with inspiration. You leave with a repeatable approach.

What we often work on

We’ll choose the focus based on your reality—not a generic curriculum.

Executive presence + communication

Clarity, influence, hard conversations, and high-trust dialogue.

“John is a skilled listener—his questions inspired deep self-reflection and an action-oriented journey toward my goals.”
Danielle McConnell
Director of Contracts, Lockheed Martin

Leadership under pressure

Self-regulation, steadiness, and resilience during uncertainty.

“As a new manager, John helped me significantly improve my confidence in conflict tolerance and influencing.”
Marcus Shaun Fath
Senior Statistician, Eli Lilly & Company

Team culture + accountability

Feedback, boundaries, expectations, and conflict resolution.

“He taught me how to effectively develop others on my team—actionable steps I could implement right away.”
Kirsti Thomas
Director, IT & Enterprise PMO, R1 RCM

Career clarity + decisions

Direction, identity, values-aligned choices, and next steps.

“Rather than providing easy answers, John challenged me to consider the impact of my decisions and choose an approach aligned with my vision.”
Gabriel Pio
Director of Operations, Oldcastle Infrastructure

Questions people ask before booking

Simple answers—so you know what you’re stepping into.

What happens in a chemistry session?

We talk through what you’re navigating, what you want instead, and whether this partnership is a fit. You’ll leave with clarity either way.

Most clients meet biweekly for 50 minutes. We can adjust cadence based on your role, season, and goals.

Typically virtual. In-person options can be discussed if geography and schedule allow.

No. It’s optional. If we use it, it’s to accelerate clarity around patterns—especially under stress.

Common engagements range from 3–6 months, depending on depth and complexity.

New clients begin with a minimum 3-month Foundation (6 sessions) to build clarity, momentum, and a repeatable approach. The Foundation is $1,800. You can also add the iEQ9 assessment + an extended debrief for $2,100 (includes the $125 assessment fee and prep). After the Foundation, ongoing coaching is $300 per 50-minute session and can be scheduled as needed—most clients choose a biweekly rhythm to keep the work sustainable.

If you’ve worked with me before, yes—$300 / 50 minutes, booked as needed. For new clients, I start with a 6-session Foundation so we’re building real change (not just a one-off conversation).
